African Academic Night: meet and test your business ideas with African academics in Turku on 28 October
30 August 2023
African academics in Finland play a key role in promoting both educational and business partnerships between Finland and African countries. Finnish companies and organisations have the opportunity to meet African academics at the African Academic Night on 28 October. Organised in Turku, the event will bring together more than 100 researchers and students from 40 African countries.
Finnpartnership is co-organising the event together with the Diaspora Academic Network for Africa (DIANA ry). We offer Finnish companies an opportunity to participate and showcase their business activities. The event also provides a chance to test business ideas for developing markets with the researchers. Researchers and students have the knowhow of the local cultures and markets and can provide valuable insights on how to promote business. The event will also provide an opportunity to learn about African diaspora networks in Finland and the businesses and start-ups founded by researchers in Finland.
The African Academic Night will take place on 28 October 2023 at 17:00 onwards in Turku (T-Talo, Vanha Hämeentie 29).
If you would like to participate and showcase your company, please contact paula.pihlava@finnpartnership.fi by 13 October the latest.
